ABIDE / BELONG

Part of a group installation, What Becomes Home, Abide/Belong is a visual meditation on the concept of “home"—contemplating the need and desire humans have for a home/place, home/base, in whatever form it takes. Ultimately, we gain the knowledge that we carry "home" within us. Transparency is a way of acknowledging the layeredness of seeking: memories, identity, time, place: the threads of relationship. The smaller works in Layeredness of Seeking are an extension of this meditation, as well as a meditation on the importance of family.
